6 SPECIAL PIECES OF ANTIQUE SILVER, A PAIR OF SMALL BEAUTIFUL, SILVER LADLES, A VICTORIAN SILVER EGG SPOON! – 2 x SILVER MUSTARD SPOONS -ONE IRISH AND GEORGIAN THE OTHER VICTORIAN (LONDON) & A PRETTY LITTLE SALT SPOON. SO, from the photographs you should hopefully be able to see. A pair of silver ladles, really heavy and solid, about 5 inches from the top of the handle to the base of the bowl, these are hallmarked in Birmingham. The maker is T. Moving swiftly along is the GEORGIAN silver mustard spoon, carrying the Dublin hallmark, – maker W. A Georgian head, Hibernia, a harp, and the year letter G. The second mustard SPOON, is Victorian- London hallmark, I think 1846? – (I’m learning as I go along), This is so far from my subject, but I’m finding it super interesting! Then the egg spoon, I never knew there was a spoon specifically dedicated to eggs! Such opulence, it has queen Victoria’s head and I believe dates to 1880? . And finally the sixth piece is a silver salt spoon, thrown in as a bonus, really pretty with a beaded rim around it, it is Victorian, with a Sheffield hallmark. Well I think that must have it covered! Perhaps I should say get the polish ready, these have had a ” light” clean but could be made stunning with a proper polish!
